It was by good fortune that one morning in early July 2003 while I was standing on my back porch and noticed Waterfront Engineering installing a boat lift across the channel in the Dana Shores section of Tampa. My sea wall was originally built in the late 60’s and the cap was broken in several places. I had been approached by several companies in the past, all giving reasons why we needed a new seawall. I drove over to the next street in hopes of meeting someone to discuss my problem with. I was introduced to Jan Anseeuw, he had his brother Danny contact me within 24 hours. In the mean time I had found out that his company was very well known and respected in the industry. Danny told me that no work would be done by them unless an engineer specializing in seawalls inspects the job first. I contacted the engineer who came to do the inspection within two weeks. Once the report was given I received a proposal from Waterfront Engineering by August 5th.

I was very pleased to find that I did not have to replace the entire seawall and awarded the job to them. As soon as the permit was granted the crew arrived and to my delight the work was completed in under a month. Everything was done in a professional manner with knowledge and integrity at the forefront.

Not to use Waterfront Engineering for you dock or seawall would be a mistake. I spent years listening to Waterfronts competition and believe me when I say “deal with Danny and Jan Anseeuw of Waterfront Engineering and you will be completely satisfied”.

Dear Sirs,

I am writing this letter in regards to my recent seawall replacement by Waterfront Engineering, Inc. The experience was one I dreaded; due to my failing seawall. I had several Contractors’ provide me their opinions and option’s on the work that needed to be done to secure the water’s edge.

While most of the options provided by the Contractor’s where similar, I was impressed by Danny’s approach in resolving my issues. His honest and no BS approach was what put Waterfront Engineering on the top of my list.

The work entailed removal of existing cap and installing +/-200LF of composite sheeting with new cap at and elevation two feet higher than existing.

The Waterfront Engineering crew mobilized on schedule, and worked continuously until the project was completed. The workmanship was superior to the neighbors beside me who had the same work done by another Contractor two months earlier, and at less cost.

Thank you for a beautiful seawall!!!! I am sure it will be there for a long time. I will definitely be able to enjoy the security of it, for the rest of my life.
